Each backend keeps its own snapshot so you can compare where Zippopotam and Photon drop a pin for the same ZIP or city. Pin a backend on Manage location.
Geocoder demo uses the shared location store. Coordinates come from whichever provider is active (see Manage location).

Nothing runs on mount. Use ZIP → both backends to compare the same ZIP on Zippopotam and Photon side by side.
Geocode
US ZIP via Zippopotam.us; city, state, or place with debounced autocomplete via Photon (OpenStreetMap). Photon can rank results near a configurable lat/lon bias. Each backend keeps its own stored pin so you can compare.

Bias toward 39.7456, -97.0892 (mid-CONUS / Kansas demo preset).
